Antonio Anderson
Antonio Andrew Anderson (born June 5, 1985) is an American former basketball player and the current head coach at Springfield Commonwealth Academy. He majored in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Memphis and played basketball for several years professionally. College career Anderson was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and attended the University of Memphis. In the 2007–08 season (his junior year at Memphis), Anderson started alongside Derrick Rose, Joey Dorsey, Chris Douglas-Roberts, and Robert Dozier. In his senior season he put up career numbers, including 10.7 points per game as well as 5.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. On January 3, 2009, Anderson became only the second player in Memphis history to record a triple-double, the other being Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists in a home game against the Lamar Cardinals. 2008 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament
The 2008 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 65 schools playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball as a culmination of the 2007–08 basketball season. The 70th annual edition of the tournament began on March 18, 2008, and concluded on April 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. ''The Commercial Appeal'' (also known as the ''Memphis Commercial Appeal'') is a daily newspaper of Memphis, Tennessee, and its surrounding metropolitan area. Ratiopharm Ulm, officially stylized as ratiopharm Ulm, is a professional basketball club based in Ulm, Germany. The 2009 NBA draft was held on June 25, 2009, at the WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Anfernee Deon "Penny" Hardaway (born July 18, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach of the Memphis Tigers men's basketball team in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Hardaway played college basketball at Memphis and 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was a four-time NBA All-Star and a two-time All-NBA First Team member. Robert Lorenzo Dozier, Jr. (born November 6, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Chris Douglas Roberts (born January 8, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Memphis. High school career Douglas-Roberts played high school basketball at Cass Technical High School and Northwestern High School. He played for Cass Tech in 2003 and 2004 averaging 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. After the 2004 season he transferred to Northwestern where he saw limited time due to transfer rules and didn't join the team until the second semester. Richard Elmer "Joey" Dorsey (born December 16, 1983) is an American professional basketball player for APOP Paphos B.C. of the Cyprus Basketball Division A. He played college basketball for the University of Memphis. College career During both his sophomore and junior years on the team, the Tigers ended their season in the NCAA tournament's Elite Eight.
