Antonio Alfano
Antonio Alfano (born November 10, 2000) is an American football defensive tackle. He attended Colonia High School and committed to the University of Alabama on May 18, 2018. On November 4, 2019, Alfano transferred from Alabama to the University of Colorado. On May 29, 2020, it was reported that he was no longer a member of the Colorado football team. As of August 19, 2020, Alfano was reinstated to the football team. He now has an open recruitment, and holds 10+ offers. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Melvin Tucker II (born January 4, 1972) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach at Michigan State University, a position he has held since 2020. Previously, Tucker served as the head football coach at Colorado for the 2019 season.
