Anton Jonsson
Anton Jonsson is a Swedish Magic: The Gathering player. He has retired from professional Magic. At the height of his career, Jonsson was considered one of the best players in the game, and was especially known for his proficiency at Limited, having reached the Top 8 of a Pro Tour five times. In 2010, Jonsson came back to play in Grand Prix Gothenburg, where he reached yet another Top 8, five years after his last Top 8 appearance. He was voted into the Magic The Gathering Pro Tour Hall of Fame in 2011 along with Steve O'Mahoney-Schwartz and Shuhei Nakamura is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players. Steve O'Mahoney-Schwartz
Steven O'Mahoney-Schwartz is an American '' Magic: The Gathering'' player. At the height of his career in the late 1990s, he was considered one of the best players. He is well known as a friend and teammate to Jon Finkel. Career O'Mahoney-Schwartz first qualified for the Pro Tour in its inaugural season, at Pro Tour Columbus. An unimpressive finish left him outside the top sixty-four needed to win money, and unqualified for the World Championship. The following season saw O'Mahoney-Schwartz make it back to the Pro Tour with a higher degree of success and consistency. He played five of seven events winning money at two of them. The following year was O'Mahoney-Schwartz's break-out season. He reached the quarter-finals of Grand Prix Toronto, the first event of the season. Shuhei Nakamura
is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players. He has reached the Top 8 of six Pro Tours and won seven Grands Prix, as well as being the 2008 Pro Player of the Year. In 2011, he was inducted into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. Career Nakamura's first success came in a second place at Grand Prix Kobe in 2001. This qualified him for Pro Tour New Orleans. However, he chose not to attend. In January 2002 he played his first Pro Tour in San Diego. Managing several Top 8 at Japanese Grand Prix, a Top 8 appearance at Pro Tour Columbus in 2005 was his first major showing on the Pro Tour. He followed this finish with another Top 8 at the World Championship the same season. Ultimately, Nakamura would finish fourth in the Player of the Year standings with 66 Pro Points.
