Anthony Maher (soccer Player)
Anthony Maher (born March 18, 1979) was a soccer forward. Maher was a 10-year outdoor and indoor soccer professional and also a member of the United States National Futsal team and took part in the 2007 Pan-American Games in Brazil. Maher retired in 2013. Amateur He started playing soccer in Cape May County, New Jersey, as a member of the Cape Express Soccer Club. He played high school soccer at Middle Township High School in New Jersey. College Maher attended Mercyhurst College on an athletic scholarship. He was a 2001 NSCAA First Team All-American and runner up for NCAA DII National Player of the Year. He was additionally, a four-time All-GLIAC selection including Time Conference Player of the Year and All Time Goal Scorer in college history. United States National Futsal Team
The United States national futsal team represents the United States at international competitions. It is governed by the United States Soccer Federation and affiliated with CONCACAF. The U.S. Futsal Federation was founded in 1981 and the first international futsal match played by the U.S. National Futsal Team was in May 1984 in Nanaimo, Canada where the United States won, 6–5. The first international futsal match in the United States was held in December, 1985, at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. The U.S. select team, defeated Australia, 9–5. The U.S. golden age of futsal is the late 1980s and early 1990s when the team archived third-place at 1989 FIFA Futsal World Championship and runner-up at 1992 FIFA Futsal World Championship. Rochester New York FC, formerly known as the Rochester Rhinos, are an American professional soccer team based in Rochester, New York, United States. John Ball (born November 5, 1972 in Newtown, Connecticut) is an American soccer player who most recently played for the PASL team Cleveland Freeze. He has an extensive career, playing both indoor and outdoor soccer. He spent one season in Major League Soccer with the Chicago Fire and was a part of the United States national futsal team which went to the second round of the 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) was the top professional indoor soccer league in the United States. The league was a member of both the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA.
