Anthony Crawford (musician)
Anthony Crawford (born May 5, 1957) is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, who has worked with many well-known musicians in the studio, onstage and as a songwriter. Crawford has also released several solo albums in addition to two albums and a DVD with his wife, Savana Lee, as Sugarcane Jane. Although born in Birmingham, Nashville became Anthony's home, where he performed live at Opryland USA, toured with the Sonny James Band, and appeared on television’s Hee Haw and The Ralph Emery Show. He caught the eye of many in Nashville including Rounder Records and Little Dog Records. After traveling throughout the Southeast playing various string instruments, his opportunities expanded to include tours with Neil Young. In between tours with Young backing bands The Shocking Pinks, International Harvesters, and Electric Band, Anthony also toured with Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, the Pegi Young Band, Nicolette Larson and Blackhawk. Sawyer Brown
Sawyer Brown is an American country music band. It was founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by Mark Miller (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard (keyboards, vocals), Bobby Randall (lead guitar, vocals), Joe "Curly" Smyth (drums), and Jim Scholten (bass guitar). The five musicians were originally members of country singer Don King's road band, but chose to stay together after King retired in 1981. After competing on the television competition series ''Star Search'' and winning that show's grand prize, they signed to Capitol Records in 1984. The band recorded for Capitol between then and 1991, and for Curb Records between 1991 and 2005, except for a short time in 2003 when they were signed to Lyric Street Records. Duncan Cameron, formerly of the Amazing Rhythm Aces, replaced Randall in 1991, and Shayne Hill replaced him in 2004. ''Old Ways'' is the 14th studio album by Canadian / American musician and singer-songwriter Neil Young, released on August 12, 1985 on Geffen Records. Background Young has referred to this album in interviews as ''Old Ways II'', as he had originally planned to release a country album titled ''Old Ways'' in 1983. Young's record label, Geffen, objected to this, asking Young for a "rock 'n roll" album, which Young would give them in the form of 1983's ''Everybody's Rockin'''. After a lawsuit with Geffen ended in a settlement in favor of Young, he proceeded to complete the unfinished ''Old Ways'' by writing a few additional songs to fill it out. ''Old Ways I'' would have contained many still-unreleased songs, one of which, "Depression Blues," would later appear on Young's Geffen-era compilation '' Lucky Thirteen''. Rodney Crowell (born August 7, 1950) is an American musician, known primarily for his work as a singer and songwriter in country music. Crowell has had five number one singles on Hot Country Songs, all from his 1988 album '' Diamonds & Dirt''. He has also written songs and produced for other artists. Rosanne Cash (born May 24, 1955) is an American singer-songwriter and author. She is the eldest daughter of country musician Johnny Cash and Vivian Liberto Cash Distin, Johnny Cash's first wife. Although she is often classified as a country artist, her music draws on many genres, including folk, pop, rock, blues, and most notably Americana. ''Changes'' is the fourteenth studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker. It was released on September 6, 1982, by Arista Records and would be her only album for the label. The album was produced by David Malloy and peaked at number 47 on the ''Billboard'' Top Country LPs chart. Four singles were released from the album, the most successful being the track "Feel Right" which peaked at number 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles chart. Edward Thomas Rabbitt (November 27, 1941 – May 7, 1998) was an American country music singer and songwriter. His career began as a songwriter in the late 1960s, springboarding to a recording career after composing hits such as "Kentucky Rain" for Elvis Presley in 1970 and " Pure Love" for Ronnie Milsap in 1974.
