Anthony Bonus
Anthony Bonus is a former rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s. Bonus played for the Illawarra Steelers from 1994–95, then the Parramatta Eels in 1996 and finally the Melbourne Storm in 1998. Playing career Originally from Bundaberg, Bonus made his first grade debut for Illawarra in 1994 against Canterbury-Bankstown. In 1996, Bonus joined Parramatta and made seven appearances for the club before being released at the end of the season. He would rejoin Illawarra without adding to his first grade appearances in 1997, playing in the club's second grade team. In June 1998, Bonus played for Melbourne in the club's inaugural season making one appearance against Balmain. Bonus, who was living in Brisbane, was called into the Storm squad to replace Glenn Lazarus. While with Melbourne, Bonus played for the Norths Devils in the 1998 Queensland Cup. Norths Devils
The Northern Suburbs Devils, or North Brisbane Devils, or often simply referred to as Norths for short, are a rugby league club representing the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. The team colours are sky blue, navy blue and gold. They play in the Queensland Wizard Cup, and, through their predecessors, are one of the oldest clubs in Australia. Glenn Patrick Lazarus (born 11 December 1965) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer, and a former Australian Senator. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative , Lazarus won premierships with the Canberra Raiders, Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm, who he also captained. He is the only player in the history of the game to win grand finals with three separate clubs, with the grand final wins also being the first for each club. He is remembered as one of the greatest players in the history of rugby league. After his retirement from football he assisted several NRL clubs in a coaching capacity.
