Anthony B. Richmond
Anthony Barry Richmond BSC, ASC (born 7 July 1942) is an English cinematographer, film producer, and director. He is known for his collaborations with Nicolas Roeg, which include ''Don't Look Now'' (1973), ''The Man Who Fell to Earth'' (1976), and ''Bad Timing'' (1980). He was the cinematographer for the 10-camera filming of the final Beatles film Let It Be (1970), the original footage from which was re-edited by Peter Jackson into the highly acclaimed acclaimed docu-series The Beatles: Get Back (2021). For his work on ''Don't Look Now'', Richmond received the 1973 BAFTA for Best Cinematography. ''Candyman'' is a 1992 American gothic supernatural horror film, written and directed by Bernard Rose and starring Virginia Madsen, Tony Todd, Xander Berkeley, Kasi Lemmons, and Vanessa E. Williams. Lucius David Syms-Greene (born Lucius David Syms Brian Lederman; 22 February 1921 – 7 April 2003), known as David Greene, was a British television and film director, and actor. Early life and career David Greene was born in Manchester, England, and originally trained as a journalist, working for the ''Walthamstow Guardian''. In the Second World War he served in the merchant navy but was invalided out in 1941. He became Publicity Manager for the Everyman Theatre in London before deciding to become an actor. After training at RADA, he further perfected his craft at the renowned repertory theatre, the Oxford Playhouse, where he worked under the director Peter Ashmore. Basil Dearden (born Basil Clive Dear; 1 January 1911 – 23 March 1971) was an English film director. Early life and career Dearden was born at 5, Woodfield Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex to Charles James Dear, a steel manufacturer, and his wife, Florence Tripp. Basil Dean Dearden graduated from theatre direction to film, working as an assistant to Basil Dean.
