Ante Rožić (born 8 March 1986 in Bankstown, New South Wales) is a Croatian retired football player who last played for Suphanburi FC in the Thai Premier League. Early life Born to Croatian parents in Australia. Rožić moved to Croatia in 1996. His father was a Yugoslav international footballer, Vedran Rožić. Career Croatia Rožić came through the youth system at HNK Hajduk Split but never broke into the first team. For the 2005–06 season he was sent on loan to 2 HNL club NK Mosor, where he played 15 games, scoring 3 goals. The first part of 2006–07 season saw him play in 1 HNL for HNK Cibalia before moving to NK Zadar in the 2 HNL for the remainder of the season. He started the 2007–08 season with NK Zadar before moving to 2 HNL side HNK Trogir, where he became a first team regular. Bankstown is a suburb south west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 16 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district and is located in the local government area of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, having previously been the administrative centre of the City of Bankstown prior to 2016. Vedran Rožić (born 2 November 1954 in Trogir, PR Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia) is a retired Croatian football player and Hajduk chairman. He played 12 years at Hajduk Split and has 390 official caps. He played 10 times for Yugoslavia. He played with the team at the 1979 Mediterranean Games. Club career Hajduk Split He started his youth career at Slaven Trogir. Thanks to the scouting of Vojmir Kačić, he quickly came to Hajduk Split. Vedran made his debut in November 1972 against Sloboda Tuzla. Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split is a Croatian football club founded in 1911, and based in the city of Split. Between the early 1920s and 1940, club regularly participated in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national championship. The Croatian Football Federation ( hr, Hrvatski nogometni savez, HNS) is the governing body of association football in Croatia. It was originally formed in 1912 and is based in the capital city of Zagreb.
