Andy Ansah
Andrew Owusu Ansah (born 19 March 1969) is an English actor and former professional footballer. Playing career He played for six Football League teams in his career, most notably Southend United, where he played 180 games and scored 38 goals between 1990 and 1996, when they played in the new Division One following two successive promotions at the beginning of the decade. Ansah left Southend in March 1996, one year before they suffered the first of two successive relegations. Ansah was called into two Ghana squads, but did not make an appearance. Post-playing career While working as an assistant on Wayne Rooney's Street Striker, he coined the term "unbelievable tekkers", which spurred Soccer A.M. to create a new segment showcasing a piece of skill from the week's football. Ansah Owusu
Ansah Ossei-Owusu (22 November 1979 – 19 March 2022) was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Owusu began his career at Wimbledon, signing his first professional contract with the club in June 1998 after playing in the club's academy. In March 2000, Owusu was sent on loan to Scottish First Division club Raith Rovers. At Raith, Owusu enjoyed a loan spell that was a "huge success" according to the '' Daily Record'', scoring three goals in ten appearances, with Raith manager Peter Hetherston expressing an interest in taking Owusu back on loan for the following season. As a result of Wimbledon's relegation from the Premiership, Owusu remained at Wimbledon for their 2000–01 First Division campaign. William Ansah Sessarakoo
William Ansah Sessarakoo ( 1736 – 1770), a prominent 18th-century Fante royal and diplomat, best known for his wrongful enslavement in the West Indies and diplomatic mission to England. He was both prominent among the Fante people and influential among Europeans concerned with the transatlantic slave trade. After his father, John Corrente sent Ansah's brother to France, he sent Ansah to England to gain an education, curry favour with the British, and serve as his eyes and ears in Europe. The ship captain entrusted with Ansah's transport, however, instead sold him into slavery in Barbados before reaching England. Years later, a free Fante trader discovered Ansah in Barbados and quickly alerted John Corrente of his son's fate. Corrente petitioned the British to free Ansah, and the British Royal African Company emancipated Ansah and transported him to England. Timothy Ansah
Timothy Ansah (1919-2008) was a Ghanaian educationist and politician. He was a member of parliament for the Tarkwa-Aboso constituency from 1965 to 1966. Prior to entering parliament, he taught in various educational institutions. He was the headmaster for Nsein Senior High School (then Kwame Nkrumah Secondary School) from 1960 to 1974. Early life and education Ansah was born on 4 September 1919 at Axim, a town in the Western Region of Ghana. He had his early education at York Hall School in Axim. He later proceeded to Wesley College, Achimota School and King's College, Cambridge. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah ( ; born April 10, 1988) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, and Detroit Lions. He also was a member of the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.
