Another Cinderella Story
''Another Cinderella Story'' is a 2008 American teen musical comedy film directed by Damon Santostefano and written by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott. The film stars Selena Gomez, Drew Seeley and Jane Lynch. It is a sequel to ''A Cinderella Story'' (2004) and the second installment in the ''A Cinderella Story'' series. Like the first film, it is a retelling of the ''Cinderella'' fairy tale in a modern setting. The film was released on DVD on September 16, 2008 and premiered on ABC Family on January 18, 2009. The film was followed by '' A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song'' (2011). Plot Mary Santiago, a high school senior aspiring to become a dancer, was adopted by washed-up pop star Dominique Blatt, because her deceased mother was one of Dominique's dancers. Damon Santostefano
Damon Santostefano (born August 15, 1959) is an American film director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the 1999 Warner Brothers feature film '' Three to Tango'' starring Matthew Perry, Neve Campbell and Dylan McDermott; ''Bring It On Again''; and the television series ''Clueless''. Biography Santostefano was performing stand-up comedy in his hometown of Boston during his teens. While attending New York University Film School he began working professionally as a director, creating award-winning short films and documentaries. Lorena Gale
Lorena Gale (May 9, 1958 – June 21, 2009) was a Canadian actress, playwright and theatre director. She was active onstage and in films and television since the 1980s. She also authored two award-winning plays, ''Angélique'' and ''Je me souviens''. Life and career Gale was born in Montreal, Quebec. She studied at Concordia University and the National Theatre School and completed a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver in 2005.
