Annise Bradfield
Annise Bradfield (born 9 December 2002) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the GWS Giants in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Early life Bradfield grew up on the Gold Coast and was a high level field hockey in her younger years. At the age of 12, her neighbour convinced her to begin playing Australian rules football for the Labrador Tigers. A year later Bradfield switched clubs to the Southport Sharks where she became an outstanding junior prospect. She signed with the Gold Coast Suns Academy as a teenager. She switched to the Bond University Football Club in her final year of junior football in order to compete in the top level QAFLW competition. Bradfield attended Southport State High School throughout her upbringing and was taught P.E. by future Suns teammate Jamie Stanton. Southport State High School
Southport State High School is a secondary school situated in Southport on the Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia. Southport State High School was the first public high school on the Gold Coast, celebrating its 100th centenary in 2016. 'Respice Finem' remains the school motto to this day, meaning 'look to the end result'. Some of the Southport State High School Buildings are listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. The 2023 AFL Women's supplementary draft was the draft that enabled the 18 clubs in the AFL Women's competition to recruit overage players prior to the 2023 AFL Women's season 3 (three) is a number, numeral and digit. 2021 AFLW Season
The 2021 AFL Women's season was the fifth season of the AFL Women's competition, the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia. The season featured fourteen clubs, ran from 28 January until 17 April, and comprised a 9-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top six clubs. The premiership was won by the for the first time, after it defeated by 18 points in the AFL Women's Grand Final. Format The previous two AFLW seasons were formatted with the assistance of conferences, which split the league's clubs into two ranking tables. Jamie Stanton
Jamie Stanton (born 7 November 1995) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Gold Coast Suns in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She previously played for the Brisbane Lions from 2017 to 2018 and the North Melbourne Football Club in 2019. Stanton was the inaugural Gold Coast Club Champion in her first season at the club in 2020 and was Gold Coast's equal leading goalkicker in 2021. Early life Stanton grew up on the Gold Coast where she attended St Andrews Lutheran College and excelled in soccer, earning selection for the junior Matildas as a teenager.
