Annihilation (comics)
"Annihilation" is a 2006 crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics, highlighting several outer space-related characters in the Marvel Universe. The central miniseries was written by Keith Giffen, with editor Andy Schmidt. Publication history A 48-page one-shot issue, ''Annihilation: Prologue'', was released on March 15, 2006. It was followed by four concurrent 4-issue miniseries, ''Silver Surfer'' (April 1, 2006), '' Super-Skrull'' (April 12, 2006), ''Nova'' (April 19, 2006), and ''Ronan the Accuser'' (April 26, 2006). ''Annihilation'' was published as a six issue miniseries beginning in August 2006. It was followed by two issues of '' Annihilation: Heralds of Galactus'' and a new volume of Nova. Gabriele Dell'Otto
Gabriele Dell’Otto (born December 20, 1973) is an Italian illustrator and author whose works have been published in several countries in the fields of scientific illustration, American comic books, comic books, calendars, lithographies, books, colored graphic folders, and cover work for magazines and video games. Early life Dell'Otto was born December 20, 1973 in Rome, Italy. He received a diploma in artistic maturity and registered in the European Design Institute. Career In 1998 Dell'Otto started collaborating with the European division of Marvel Comics, producing covers, posters and lithographies for Italy, France and Germany. Star-Lord (Peter Jason Quill) is a fictional character and superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan, first appeared in ''Marvel Preview'' #4 (January 1976). The son of human Meredith Quill and Spartoi J'son, Peter Quill assumes the mantle of Star-Lord, an interplanetary policeman. Kev Walker
Kevin Walker is a British comics artist and illustrator, based in Leeds, who worked mainly on '' 2000 AD'' and ''Warhammer'' comics and the collectible card game ''Magic: The Gathering''. He is now working for Marvel Comics. Michael McKone is a British comic book artist. Career McKone's first published works for the major companies included ''Justice League of America'' and ''Justice League International'' for DC Comics and ''The Punisher War Zone'' for Marvel Comics. Jorge Lucas (born January 22, 1963) is an Uruguayan/Argentine comic book artist. He was born in Salto, Uruguay, where he lived till the age of 10, when he moved to Argentina. He is well known both in his country, as the creator of the classic adult comic ''Cazador'' ("Hunter"), as well as internationally, for his work at Marvel Comics. Andrea Di Vito (born May 28, 1971) is an Italian comic book artist. Biography Di Vito was born in Rome, and showed a love for drawing from an early age. His first published work appeared in the form of two short stories in the Italian magazine ''Intrepido''. He was first published in America in Marvel Comics' ''Marvel Shadows and Light'', with one of his pinups appearing in the comic book. Andy Lanning is an English comic book writer and inker, known for his work for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and for his collaboration with Dan Abnett. Career Lanning works primarily at Marvel Comics and DC Comics as an inker. He has also pencilled books, such as his creation ''The Sleeze Brothers''.
