Annie Park
Annie Park (born April 9, 1995) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Park has one win on that tour, at the 2018 ShopRite LPGA Classic, and competed in the 2019 Solheim Cup. Previously, she was the 2013 NCAA individual champion and had three victories on the Symetra Tour. Biography Born in Levittown, New York, Park began playing golf at the age of 7, and later in her youth she worked with instructor Sean Foley. At the age of 17, Park was the champion of the 2012 Nassau County High School Championship; as one of two women in the 135-player field, she broke the event's scoring record. The Pure Silk Championship was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Williamsburg, Virginia. The 72-hole tournament was held on the par-71 River Course at Kingsmill Resort, set at in 2013 LPGA Tour, 2013. Danielle Grace Kang (born October 20, 1992) is an American professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour. As an amateur, she won the U.S. Women's Amateur twice, in 2010 and 2011. She won the 2017 KPMG Women's PGA Championship, an LPGA major. Early life, college and amateur career Kang was born on October 20, 1992 in San Francisco. She grew up in Southern California, and qualified for the U.S. Women's Open as a 14-year-old in 2007. She began high school at Oak Park High School and later transferred to Westlake High School early to begin college at Pepperdine University in Malibu in the spring of 2010. Kang played extensively as a junior golfer with the Southern California PGA Junior Tour alongside fellow SCPGA alumni such as Lizette Salas and Brianna Do. The Women's World Golf Rankings, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Rolex Rankings, were introduced in February 2006. A Monday qualifier is a stroke play golf tournament held on the Monday before a professional golf tournament that awards top finishers entry into the professional tournament. Those who enter the Monday qualifiers are those with no status on the tour sponsoring the event or too far down the tour's priority list to earn direct entry. The players who earn entry into the professional tournament in this manner are also called Monday qualifiers. In the United States, both the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour offer Monday qualifiers for most events. On the PGA Tour, an eighteen-hole pre-qualifier for entry into each Monday qualifier is also held before the Monday qualifier.
