Anne Tran
Anne Tran (born 27 April 1996) is a French badminton player. Tran was the women's doubles champion at the 2013 and 2017 French National Championships. She was part of the French junior team that won the silver medal at the 2013 European Junior Championships, and in 2015 she won the silver medal in the girls' doubles, also bronze medals in the mixed doubles and team events. Tran clinched the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships in the women's doubles event partnered with Émilie Lefel, making them as the first French women's doubles players won a medal at that category. 2023 European Mixed Team Badminton Championships
The 2023 European Mixed Team Badminton Championships was held in Aire-sur-la-Lys, France, between 14 and 18 February 2023 and organised by Badminton Europe and French Badminton Federation. The host location was announced in December 2021 by Badminton Europe. These championships also act as the European qualification event for 2023 Sudirman Cup. Tarnów
Tarnów () is a city in southeastern Poland with 105,922 inhabitants and a metropolitan area population of 269,000 inhabitants. The city is situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999. Lauren Smith (badminton)
Lauren Smith (born 26 September 1991) is an English badminton player. She competed for England in the women's doubles and mixed team events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where she won a bronze and silver medal respectively. In 2016, she represented Great Britain at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Teamed-up with Gabby Adcock, she won the women's doubles gold medals at the English National Badminton Championships in 2013 and 2014. In 2015 and 2016, she also won the women's doubles title partnered with Heather Olver. Smith qualified to represent Great Britain at the 2019 European Games, played in the women's doubles with Chloe Birch and in the mixed doubles with Marcus Ellis. Chloe Birch
Chloe Francesca Hannah Birch (born 16 September 1995) is an English badminton player. She was introduced to badminton through school and started playing at age eight at Abbeydale Badminton Club. Birch received the Michael Vaughan Award from Silverdale School, and competed at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in 2013. She was the runner-up in 2016 English National Championships Women's singles. Birch was part of the English team that won the mixed team bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She won the women's doubles silver medal at the 2019 European Games partnered with Lauren Smith. Birch graduated from Loughborough University with sport and exercise science degree. Badminton World Federation
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales). In 1981 the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF).
