Anne Pigalle is a French singer and multimedia artist (writer, musician, art performer, poet, photographer and painter). Biography Early career Pigalle grew up in Montmartre, Paris. As a teenager, she played guitar in an all-female band, hanging out with punk musicians in Paris and London. She attended the Sex Pistols gig at the Chalet du Lac in 1976. She appeared in magazines such as '' i-D,'' ''Magazine No. 2,'' ''Grabuge'' and '' Facade.'' In the early 1980s, she moved to London, performed in clubs such as Vic Godard's Subway Sect Club Left at the Wag Club, in Soho made a recording of " Love For Sale" produced by Adrian Sherwood released on Illuminated Records and recorded for Channel 4 an opera called ''The Kiss,'' written by Michael Nyman and produced by David Cunningham. Montmartre ( , ) is a large hill in Paris's northern 18th arrondissement. It is high and gives its name to the surrounding district, part of the Right Bank. Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. The Chateau Marmont is a hotel located at 8221 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The hotel was designed by architects Arnold A. Weitzman and William Douglas Lee and completed in 1929. It was modeled loosely after the Château d'Amboise, a royal retreat in France's Loire Valley. The hotel is known as both a long- and short-term residence for celebrities – historically "populated by people either on their way up or on their way down" – as well as a home for New Yorkers in Hollywood. The hotel has 63 rooms, suites, cottages, and bungalows. In 2020, the hotel announced plans to become a members-only hotel. These plans were dissolved in 2022. Morning Becomes Eclectic
''Morning Becomes Eclectic'' (MBE) is a three-hour adult album alternative radio program first aired in 1977 and broadcast live every weekday from KCRW in Santa Monica, California. The show's name is a play on the Eugene O'Neill trilogy of plays, ''Mourning Becomes Electra''. The program was created by Isabel Holt. MBE was previously hosted by Tom Schnabel (July 1979 - November 1990), Chris Douridas (1990 - 1998), and Nic Harcourt (1998 - November 2008). Jason Bentley followed Harcourt as host in 2008. He announced that he was relinquishing his duties as Music Director and host of ''Morning Becomes Eclectic'' after 10 years on August 30, 2019. Nicholas David Gordon Knight OBE (born 24 November 1958) is a British fashion photographer and founder and director of SHOWstudio.com. He is an honorary professor at University of the Arts London and was awarded an honorary Ph.D. by the same university.
