Anne Oterholm
Anne Oterholm (born 18 January 1964) is an American-born Norwegian novelist and literary critic. Among her novels are ''Ikke noe annet enn det du vil'' from 1995 and ''Avbrutt selskap'' from 1996. From 2005 to 2012 she was the leader of the Norwegian Authors' Union. She was awarded the Aschehoug Prize in 2010. Norwegian Authors' Union
The Norwegian Authors' Union ( no, Den norske Forfatterforening, DnF) is an association of Norwegian authors. It was established in 1893 to promote Norwegian literature and protect Norwegian authors' professional and economic interests. DnF also works in solidarity with persecuted writers internationally. As of 2004 the association had 513 members. The author Heidi Marie Kriznik has led the organization since 2017. Organization activities The Norwegian Authors' Union Literary Council annually awards a number of government and independently established scholarships to both members and non-members. The Literary Council consists of nine members and provides counsel on all matters of literary art, in addition to decisions on awards. Aschehoug Prize
The Aschehoug Prize is published annually by the Norwegian publishing house Aschehoug. The Aschehoug Prize is awarded to Norwegian authors on the basis of the merit of a recent publication. It is awarded on merit, irrespective of the publisher, based on a binding recommendation from the Norwegian Critics Organization. The prize consists of a statuette of sculptor Ørnulf Bast and 100,000 kroner (2018). The monumental sculpture ''Evig Liv'' (=''Eternal Life'') which is the reference of the miniature statuette is to be found at ''Sehesteds plass'' in front of the publisher's main building in Oslo. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' ( no, Store Norske Leksikon, abbreviated ''SNL''), is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. The Arts Council Norway ( no, Norsk kulturråd, often shortened to ''Kulturrådet'') is the official arts council for Norway. Sigmund Løvåsen (born 16 August 1977) is a Norwegian novelist and playwright. Career Løvåsen was born in Trysil.
