Anne Kosgei
Anne Jepkemboi Kosgei (born in 1980 in Uasin Gishu) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in road running, including the marathon. She has won her first marathon races in San Sebastián and Trieste, and went on to win both the Belgrade Marathon and Venice Marathon in 2009. She set her personal best of 2:27:46 at the latter competition. Career Kosgei began racing professionally around 2000 and won her first major race in Europe that year with a course record at the Giro dei tre Monti in Imola, Italy. Her first victory over the classic distance came at the 2001 San Sebastian Marathon, where her time of 2:31:19 was the third fastest ever at the competition. Vienna City Marathon
The Vienna City Marathon is an annual marathon race over the classic distance of 42.195 km held in Vienna, Austria since 1984. History The first edition was held on with a total of 794 competitors. It is Austria's largest road running event and the 2010 edition had record participation with 32,940 runners from 108 nations taking part in the day's races. The race has been organised by Wolfgang Konrad since 1989. The race day's events also include a marathon team relay event, a 4.2 km fun run and a half marathon. In 2011, Haile Gebrselassie ran the fastest ever time on Austrian soil for the half marathon distance. Hong Kong Marathon
The Hong Kong Marathon (香港馬拉松), sponsored by Standard Chartered, Standard Chartered Bank, is an annual marathon race held in January or February in Hong Kong. In addition to the full marathon, a 10 km run and a half marathon are also held. Around 70,000 runners take part each year across all events. High levels of humidity and a difficult course make finishing times for the Hong Kong Marathon comparatively slower than other large marathons. The course records were both set in 2019. Kenyan Barnabas Kiptum holds the men's record of 2:09:20 hours while Belarusian Volha Mazuronak holds the women's record of 2:26:13 hours. Lenah Cheruiyot
Lenah Jemutai Cheruiyot (born 1 March 1973) is a Kenyan former long-distance runner who competed mainly in road running competitions. Her highest international honour was a team gold medal at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in 2002, which she shared for finishing seventh. She competed up to the marathon distance and set a best of 2:26:00 hours for that event at the 2008 Paris Marathon, at which she was placed third. Although her international career was limited, she competed extensively on the professional road circuit and won many high calibre races, including: the Venice Marathon (twice), the Humarathon, Lille Half Marathon, Paris Half Marathon (twice), Porto Half Marathon, CPC Loop Den Haag, and 20 Kilomètres de Paris. She had 41 career victories in distance running. |

The Milano City Marathon is a marathon race held every April in Milan, Italy. It was first organised in 2000 by the Milano City Marathon Club and the first nine editions were held in November. Route Du Vin Half Marathon
The ING Route du Vin Half Marathon (french: ING Route du Vin Semi-Marathon) is an annual road running competition over the half marathon distance (21.1 km/13.1 mi) which takes place in late September in Remich, Luxembourg. It is organised by the Luxembourg Athletics Federation and it is a member race of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. It is sponsored by ING Luxembourg. Granollers Half Marathon
The Granollers Half Marathon (Catalan: ''Mitja Marató de Granollers'') is an annual road running competition over the half marathon distance (21.097 km) which takes place in February in the city of Granollers in Catalonia, Spain. The race is organised by the ''Col·lectiu d'Atletes de Fons'' group and was first held in 1987. The course starts and finishes in Granollers and passes through Les Franqueses del Vallès and La Garriga.
