Anne Fulwood
Anne Fulwood (born 5 February 1959) is an Australian-born former reporter, journalist and writer with a long association as a newsreader and current affairs host, she was born in South Australia's Riverland region and began her career in the state of South Australia. Career Fulwood began her television career at ADS-7 (now ADS-10) in Adelaide in 1982 initially as a sports reporter. She became co-news anchor for Seven National News in late 1984 alongside popular presenter Kevin Crease, well-known weatherman Keith Martyn and former football player Peter Marker on sports. In 1987, she moved to Sydney, initially as a sports reporter, with Network Ten. She worked as a weekend news anchor for '' Eyewitness News'' as well as a reporter on ''Sydney with Mike Gibson''. Tim Webster (born 15 December 1951) is an Australian television and radio personality and sports broadcaster. He held various presenting roles on Network 10 from 1981 until 2008. Career Early career In 1972, Webster started working for Bathurst radio station 2BS, progressing from a media buyer to a radio announcer. Later, Webster was part of the on-air team at Triple M Sydney. Television Webster was the first newsreader on breakfast television show '' Good Morning Australia''. Peter Mitchell (newsreader)
Peter Mitchell (born 14 June, 1960) is an Australian television presenter. He has been the chief news presenter for HSV-7 of their flagship bulletin "''Seven News Melbourne"'' since the year 2000, and prior to that, he was the weekend news presenter. Career Mitchell began at the Nine Network in 1977 as a sport reporter. In this position he covered sports such as Australian rules football, golf, tennis and the Commonwealth Games. In 1982, Peter became a general news reporter and in this position he covered many stories including Victoria's horrific Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983. In 1987, Mitchell joined the Seven Network and became weekend news presenter. He held this position for 13 years until November 2000 when he replaced David Johnston and Anne Fulwood as the solo weeknight presenter. David Johnston (newsreader)
David Johnston (born 4 December 1941) is a Welsh-born Australian retired television news presenter. Johnston, known as ''DJ'' to hundreds of thousands of viewers and colleagues, presented his last bulletin on the Seven Network on 23 September 2005. He and wife Eve retired in a property at Bendigo to enjoy country life and be close to their daughter, her husband and their grandchildren. Early life and education After emigrating from Wales as an 11-year-old with his mother Lillian in 1953, Johnston settled in Victoria's western districts and later started his secondary education at Terang High School. But his mother soon moved them to Olinda to start a children's holiday home and when that venture failed financially, David had to leave school aged 15 to earn some money.
