Annamalai (season 3)
Annamalai 3 ( ta, அண்ணாமலை 3) is an Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired Monday through Thursday on MediaCorp Vasantham from 28 December 2015 to 31 March 2016 at 10:30PM SST for 52 episodes. The show starred Sri Venkatarageaven, Karthik Samasundram, James Kumar, Gayathri Segaran, Indra Chandran and Balakumaran among others. It was director by A. Mohamed Ali, I. Sunder and S.S. Vikneshwaran. Plot The story begins somewhere in southern India, with Annamalai leading a normal life. He is now married to Manikkam Chettiar's daughter Natchiammai. He recollects memories of how Simon Ross, the British lawyer, requested for him to care for the small boy and how they left for England. Gayathri Segaran
Gayatri (Sanskrit: गायत्री, IAST:Gāyatrī) is the personified form of the Gayatri Mantra, a popular hymn from Vedic texts. She is also known as Savitri, and bears the epithet of ''Vedamata'' (mother of the Vedas). Gayatri is often associated with Savitr, a solar deity in the Vedas. According to the Skanda Purana, Gayatri is another name of Saraswati, and is the consort of Brahma. Shaivite texts identify Mahagayatri as the consort of Shiva, in his highest form of Sadasiva, with five heads and ten hands. Origin Gayatri was the name initially applied to a metre of the Rig Veda consisting of 24 syllables. In particular, it refers to the Gayatri Mantra and the Goddess Gāyatrī as that mantra personified. MediaCorp Vasantham
Vasantham is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel owned by Mediacorp. The network is focused towards the Singaporean Indian community in the country. It was originally launched on 1 September 1995 as Premiere 12. Tamil programming was included on 30 January 2000 when the channel was rebranded as Central as Vasantham Central, and was later rebranded again as an independent Tamil-language channel on 19 October 2008. Its logo is the blue word "Vasantham" underlined, with the letter V arranged in floral pattern in shades of blue, green and yellow.
