Annabel is an American emo band from Akron, Ohio. To date, Annabel has released three full-length albums. Their first album, titled ''Each and Everyone'', was released in 2009. Akron () is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County, Ohio, Summit County. It is located on the western edge of the Glaciated Allegheny Plateau, about south of downtown Cleveland. It generally provides readers with band interviews, photos, and relevant news. It was founded in 1985 by Mike Shea in Cleveland, OH. The company is now looked after by MDDN. Beginnings The first issue of ''Alternative Press'' was distributed at concerts in Cleveland, Ohio beginning in June 1985 by ''APs founder, Mike Shea to advocate bands playing underground music. The name for the magazine, ''Alternative Press'', was not a reference to the alternative rock genre, but referred to the fanzine being an alternative to the local press. Shea began working on his first issue in his mother's house in Aurora, Ohio. Shea and a friend, Jimmy Kosicki, targeted the Cleveland neighborhood of Coventry. They followed that release with a 7-inch split with Parker via Count Your Lucky Stars. In 2012, Dowsing released their first studio album titled ''It's Still Pretty Terrible'' via Count Your Lucky Stars. The following year they released their second studio album titled ''I Don't Even Care Anymore''. In 2013, Soft Speak Records released a split with Dowsing, Haverford, Run, Forever, and Captain, We're Sinking. In May 2014, Dowsing released a 7-inch split with Annabel via Count Your Lucky Stars.
