Anna Trebunskaya (russian: Анна Требунская; born 28 December 1980) is a Russian born American professional ballroom and Latin dancer, known for her appearances on ''Dancing with the Stars''. She now lives in Los Angeles and dances in the International Latin style. Personal life Anna Trebunskaya was born December 28, 1980, in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Her parents, Oleg Trebunski and Irina Trebunskaya, owned a dance studio and were professional ballroom dancers. Having begun dancing at the age of six, their daughter entered and won her first competition when she was seven. She moved to the United States with her parents when she was 17 years old to pursue her career as a professional dancer. Season eleven of ''Dancing with the Stars'' premiered on September 20, 2010, on the ABC network. Several changes were introduced this season, including an "Acoustic Week," in which couples performed either the rumba or the Argentine tango while the audience was brought closer to the dance floor which was elevated and made circular.
