Anna Stevenson
Anna Elise Hall (; born July 8, 1999) is an American professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for the United States women's national volleyball team and Italian Series A1 professional team Cuneo Granda Volley. Early life Hall grew up in Laurens, South Carolina and attended Laurens High School, where she played volleyball. She was the 82nd nationally ranked recruit in her graduating class, and was high school All-American. With her high school club team, she was a two-time national champion. Career College Hall played college volleyball for a total of five years, as she opted to use the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After playing two seasons at Auburn, Hall transferred to Louisville, playing from 2019–2021. In her second season with Louisville in 2020, she earned AVCA Second Team All-American honors. Laurens, South Carolina
Laurens is a city in Laurens County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 9,139 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Laurens County. History Located in upstate South Carolina, the city of Laurens is named after Henry Laurens, a South Carolina merchant and rice planter who was one of America's wealthiest slave traders. CEV Women's Challenge Cup
The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. American Volleyball Coaches Association
The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is an organization of over 6,000 members, incorporated as a private non-profit educational corporation in 1981, as the Collegiate Volleyball Coaches Association. It is currently headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. The original members of the AVCA were intercollegiate coaches who banded together to form this particular coaching body. In 1986, during the San Francisco convention, the membership recognized the growing and developing high school and club communities. The name of the association was then changed to reflect these growing constituencies. The original Collegiate Volleyball Coaches Association was renamed the American Volleyball Coaches Association with the intent of responding to and serving all volleyball coaches.
