Anna Sharevich
Anna Sharevich (born December 18, 1985) is a Belarusian-American Woman Grandmaster (WGM) in chess. She won the Women's Belarusian Chess Championship in 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2011. Sharevich played for team Belarus in the Women's Chess Olympiad in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. In 2014, she transferred national federations from Belarus to United States. FIDE. United States Chess League
The United States Chess League (USCL) was the only nationwide chess league in the United States for eleven years. In 2016 the League announced it would be opened to cities from around the world, moved to the website chess.com, and renamed the Professional Rapid Online Chess League. At its peak, the USCL comprised twenty teams, whose members included some of the highest-rated chess players in the United States. Participants in the last season included Wesley So, Alexander Onischuk, Alex Lenderman, Anton Kovalyov, Varuzhan Akobian, Daniel Naroditsky, Julio Becerra, Joel Benjamin, and many other grandmasters. The League was founded in 2005 by International Master Greg Shahade. The 39th Chess Olympiad (russian: 39-я Шахматная олимпиада, ''39-ya Shakhmatnaya olimpiada''), organised by FIDE and comprising an open and a women's tournament, as well as several other events designed to promote the game of chess, took place from September 19 to October 4, 2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. There were 148 teams in the open event and 115 in the women's event. In total, 1306 players were registered.
