Anna Schell
Anna Carmen Schell (born 3 August 1993) is a German freestyle wrestler. She is a two-time bronze medalist at the World Wrestling Championships and a two-time medalist, including gold, at the European Wrestling Championships. She also represented Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Career In 2017, Schell lost her bronze medal match against Svetlana Saenko of Moldova in the 75kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. In 2018, she competed in the 68kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary where she was eliminated in her first match by Blessing Oborududu of Nigeria. In 2019, Schell won the silver medal in the 72kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania. In 2020, she competed in the 68kg event without winning a medal. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2019 Yasar Dogu Tournament
The 47th Yasar Dogu Tournament 2019, was a wrestling event held in Istanbul, Turkey between 11 and 14 July 2019. This international tournament included competitions in men's and women's freestyle wrestling. It was held as the sixth of the ranking series of United World Wrestling in 2019. This ranking tournament was held in honor of two-time Olympic Champion, Yaşar Doğu. The Bağcılar Olympic Sports Hall hosted about 300 freestyle wrestlers from 35 countries, competing for the top title in the 47th Yaşar Doğu International Wrestling Tournament. Wrestling At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Freestyle 68 Kg
Women's freestyle 68 kilograms competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, took place on 2–3 August 2021 at the Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku. The qualification rounds were held on 2 August while medal matches were held on the 2nd day of the competition. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Tamyra Mensah-Stock from the United States won the gold medal after beating Blessing Oborududu from Nigeria 4–1 in the gold medal match. Sara Dosho
is a wrestler from Japan. She won the gold medal in the women's 69 kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships held in Paris, France. Career She competes in the 67kg division and won the gold medal at the 2013 Summer Universiade in the same division defeating Ochirbatyn Nasanburmaa of Mongolia in the final. Mackay launched the site in 2005, originally as insidethegames.com, following the announcement that London has been chosen to host the 2012 Summer Olympics. Blessing Oborududu
Blessing Oborududu (born 12 March 1989, in Gbanranu) is a Nigerian freestyle wrestler. She is currently ranked as the world number two woman Wrestling, wrestler and also the first wrestler to win an Olympic medal representing Nigeria at the Olympics. She is also a ten time African champion from 2010 to 2020. Career Oborududu was invited to a national camp in 2007 to take part at the African Games after noticing her impressive performances at school inter-house wrestling competitions. Her parents were initially against her ambition to become a sport wrestler and advised her that wrestling is allocated only for boys. She idolised Canadian-Nigerian wrestler Daniel Igali who was originally regarded as the first person from Nigeria to win an Olympic medal in wrestling. She has won a gold medal at the African Wrestling Championships every year for the last 11 years, except for 2012 when she did not enter due to competing in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
