Anna Plichta
Anna Plichta (born 10 February 1992) is a Polish former racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2016 and 2021 for five different teams. She rode at the UCI Road World Championships every year between 2014 and 2020, and also represented Poland at the 2015 European Games in the women's road race and women's time trial. Career In September 2016 she was announced as part of the squad for 2017. Plichta was meant to join Belgian team in 2018, but the team was disbanded in late October 2017 when their title sponsor Lensworld's new parent company, LensOnline decided to not continue sponsorship of the cycling team. After it was announced that Nikki Brammeier would leave at the end of 2017 to concentrate on cyclo-cross, Plichta was offered the position on in early November 2017. Ahead of the 2021 season, Plichta joined the team on a two-year contract, however she retired at the end of 2021. Personal life Her favourite place to ride is the Polish mountains. Major results ...

2018 European Road Cycling Championships
The 2018 European Road Cycling Championships was the 24th running of the European Road Cycling Championships, and took place from 12 to 15 July 2018 in Brno, Czech Republic for the under-23 and junior events, and from 5 to 9 August 2018 in Glasgow, United Kingdom for the elite events. The event consisted of a total of 6 road races and 6 time trials, regulated by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC). The elite portion of the Championships in Glasgow formed a section of both a first unified UEC European Cycling Championships, and the first multi-sport European Championships. 2020 European Road Championships
The 2020 European Road Cycling Championships was the 26th running of the European Road Cycling Championships that took place from 24 to 28 August 2020 in Plouay, France. The event consisted of a total of 6 road races and 7 time trials. Location On 10 June 2019, it was announced that Trentino, Italy would host this event from 9 to 13 September 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy, the UEC and Trentino officials decided to postpone the city's hosting of the event to 2021. It was later announced in July that Plouay, France would step up to host the event from 24 to 28 August 2020, with the city also hosting the French National Road Race and Time Trial Championships the week prior, as well as the Bretagne Classic and GP de Plouay – Bretagne on 25 and 26 August, respectively. 2019 Madrid Challenge By La Vuelta
The fifth edition of the Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta, a women's cycling race held in Spain, will take place on 14 and 15 September 2019. Route and organization The race starts with and 9.3 km individual time trial in Boadilla del Monte, followed by a 98.6 km crit race in Madrid. Stage 2 will use the finishing circuit that will also be used for stage 21 of the 2019 Vuelta. The event was organised by ASO, which also organises the Vuelta a España. Gracia–Orlová is a women's staged cycle race which takes place in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic and in the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland. It was created in 1987. The Polish National Time Trial Championship is a road bicycle race that takes place inside the Polish National Road Cycling Championships, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race.
