Anna Pettersson
Anna Maria Pettersson (5 January 1861 – 6 September 1929) was a Swedish lawyer. She was the first woman in Sweden to set up a legal agency, run by a woman, which was aimed primarily at female clients. Pettersson was also active in the Swedish National Association for Women's Suffrage (FKPR). Life Anna Pettersson was born in Uppsala to the gardener Johan Fredrik Pettersson and Charlotta Amalia Günlsdorff. She never married. She trained to be a language teacher, but was always interested in the law and educated herself in law as an autodidact. Between 1890 and 1901, she worked as a clerk at the local law court of Uppsala, and from 1901 to 1904, at the law firm of Victor Wennerholm in Stockholm. In 1904, she founded her own legal agency, the ('Women's Legal Bureau') in Stockholm. She thereby became the first woman in Sweden to start a legal agency, run by a woman, and with primarily female clients. Eva Andén
Eva Johanna Andén (23 April 1886 – 26 March 1970) was a Swedish lawyer. She became the first woman member of the Swedish Bar Association on 14 March 1918. Life Eva Andén was born to the merchant Heribert Andén and Elin Forssman. In 1907, she became a law student at the University of Uppsala, where she was the only female member of her class, and graduated in 1912. In 1912–1913, she toured Sweden and gave legal lectures on behalf of the National Association for Women's Suffrage (Sweden); in 1913–1914 she was employed as a notary at the legal court of Falun, and in 1914–1915, she practiced law in the firm of Johan Tjerneld, secretary of the Swedish Bar Association. In 1915, she took over the law firm of Anna Pettersson in Stockholm. The second woman lawyer in Sweden, Mathilda Staël von Holstein, practiced in her firm in 1919–1923. Agda Montelius
Agda Georgina Dorothea Alexandra Montelius née ''Reuterskiöld'' (23 April 1850 – 27 October 1920) was a Swedish philanthropist and feminist. She was a leading figure of the Swedish philanthropy, active for the struggle of women's suffrage, and chairman of the Fredrika Bremer Association in 1903–1920. Biography Montelius was born in Köping in 1850, the daughter of the government defence minister and noble Lieutenant General Alexander Reuterskiöld and Anna Schenström.
