Anna Danesi (born 20 April 1996) is an Italian volleyball player. She is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team. With the national team she competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 32nd edition of the Women's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. For the second time the Women's EuroVolley was held in four countries: Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. Qualification Pools composition The drawing of lots was combined with a seeding of National Federations and performed as follows: # The 4 organizers were seeded in Preliminary pools. Milena Rašić
Milena Rašić ( sr-cyr, Милена Рашић; born 25 October 1990) is a retired Serbian professional volleyball player. She played for Serbia women's national volleyball team. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is tall. Career Having been part of the Serbian team that finished in last place at the London Olympics, Rašić was part of the Serbian team that won the silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Rašić won the 2016–17 CEV Champions League gold medal with VakıfBank Istanbul when her team defeated the Italian Imoco Volley Conegliano 3-0 and she was also awarded Best Middle Blocker. Yan Ni (volleyball)
Yan Ni (; born 2 March 1987) is a Chinese retired volleyball player who won the gold medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics. On club level, she played for Liaoning. She announced her retirement from volleyball in November 2021. Career Yan won the gold medal in the 2015 World Cup, 2016 Summer Olympics, and 2019 World Cup with China women's national volleyball team. Yan was awarded the Best Middle Blocker at 2018 FIVB World Championship and 2019 World Cup. In 2014 AVC cup, Yan won both the MVP and Best Middle Blocker awards. The 2018–19 CEV Champions League was the highest level of European club volleyball in the 2018–19 season and the 59th edition. Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cups Competitions and 2 teams qualify from the qualification rounds. The 2017–18 Serie A1 was the 73rd season of the highest professional Italian Women's Volleyball League. The season took place from October to May, and was contested by twelve teams. Format The regular season consists of 22 rounds, where the twelve participating teams play each other twice (once home and once away). At the completion of the regular season, the eight best teams advance to the playoffs and the teams finishing in 11th and 12th are relegated to Serie A2. 2016–17 CEV Women's Champions League
The CEV Champions League was the highest level of European club volleyball in the 2016–17 season and the 57th edition. The Turkish club VakıfBank Istanbul won its third title and qualified to the 2017 FIVB Club World Championship as European champion, besides being already invited by the FIVB, along with Eczacıbaşı VitrA and Voléro Zürich. Imoco Volley
Imoco Volley is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Conegliano and currently playing in the Serie A1. History The club was founded on 15 March 2012, two months after the bankruptcy of the other volleyball team in Conegliano. In April 2012, it acquired a Serie A1 licence from , that meant the club started playing directly at the highest Italian league. It has been playing under the name since its foundation in 2012. The club won the Serie A1 for the first time in 2015–16, winning the Italian Super Cup a few months later on 8 December 2016. On 5 March 2017, the club won the Coppa Italia for the first time after beating Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena 3–0 in the final. In December 2019 the club won the Women's Club World Championship.
