Anna's Dream
''Anna's Dream'' is an American television film directed by Colin Bickley, starring former ''Caitlin's Way'' star Lindsay Felton as Anna Morgan and former ''So Weird'' star Cara DeLizia as Beth Morgan. It aired on Pax TV on September 20, 2002. Plot Eighteen-year-old Anna Morgan becomes a paraplegic after a gymnastics accident. Her whole world has changed. Anna has to repeat her junior year of high school after missing school to go to therapy, her boyfriend ignores her, she loses her friends, and her parents treat her like a helpless child. Anna is befriended by a stranger, whose life changed overnight. He tells Anna that she can't get her old life back, but he can offer her hope. Connie Sellecca (born Concetta Sellecchia; May 25, 1955) is an American actress, producer, and former model, best known for her roles on the television series '' Flying High'', ''The Greatest American Hero'', and ''Hotel'', for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 1987. Early life Sellecca was born Concetta Sellecchia in The Bronx, New York to Italian parents, Primo Sellecchia and Marianna (Acampora) Sellecchia, who were married from 1952 until Primo's death in 1987. Sang Lan (; born 11 June 1981) is a former Chinese gymnast and television personality. She is currently a student and advocates for improved conditions for disabled people within China. Athletic career and injury Sang achieved excellence in gymnastics at a young age, winning the all-around and every single event final at the 1991 Zhejiang Province Championships. By 1995, she was competing nationally. Sang was one of China's strongest vaulters, placing second on the event at the 1995 Chinese Nationals, and gaining championship in 1997. Julissa Gomez
Julissa D'Anne Gomez (November 4, 1972 – August 8, 1991) was an American gymnast whose rapid rise through the ranks of elite gymnastics in the mid-1980s was cut short by a vaulting accident in 1988 that left her a quadriplegic. She eventually died from her injury. She was being coached by Al Fong, and had previously been coached by Bela Karolyi. Her injury sparked major changes to the vaulting discipline of women's gymnastics with the goal of preventing such serious injuries. Elena Vyacheslavovna Mukhina (russian: Елена Вячеславовна Мухина; first name sometimes rendered "Yelena", last name sometimes rendered "Muchina"; 1 June 196022 December 2006) was a Soviet gymnast who won the all-around title at the 1978 World Championships in Strasbourg, France. Her career was on the rise, and she was widely touted as the next great gymnastics star until 1979, when she broke a leg and missed several competitions.
