Ankakkuri
''Angakkuri'' is a 1979 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Vijayanand and produced by C. V. Hariharan. The film stars Jayan, Jayabharathi, Sukumaran and Seema/Shanthamma. The score was composed by A. T. Ummer. Synopsis The protagonist Ramachandran returns from jail and kills his corrupt boss, who had implicated him in a criminal case that destroyed his family. He abducts the victim's daughter, Sarala, and hands her over to a brothel, where she becomes a prostitute. He shifts to a new location, assumes the name Venu, and becomes a criminal. There he befriends taxi-driver Balakrishnan (Sukumaran), who is the brother of Sarala and the son of the man Ramachandran murdered. Jayabharathi
Jayabharathi is an Indian actress. She is a two-time recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for best actress. Jayabharathi's first leading role was given by director P. Bhaskaran for his movie Kattukurangu in 1969. Later she became one of the most successful Malayalam film actresses and performed with such notable leading men as Prem Nazir, Madhu, Vincent, Jayan, M. G. Soman, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. Jayabharathi-MG Soman was a popular on-screen pair of the 1970s and early 1980s. Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair (10 June 1948 – 16 June 1997), known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. He was considered one of the superstar trios of Malayalam cinema during the late 1970s and early 1980s along with Soman and Jayan. Later, he became known for his character roles and antagonistic roles during the 1980s and 1990s, notably the villain in '' CID Unnikrishnan B.A., B.Ed.''(1994) and ''Onnaam Muhurtham''(1991), playing character roles in films like ''Souhrudam''(1990).
