Ankahee (2006 Film)
''Ankahee'' () is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt and starring Aftab Shivdasani, Ameesha Patel and Esha Deol. The film was originally titled ''Aakhir''. It is based upon the life of former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, who was publicly in a relationship with Indian film director Vikram Bhatt. Plot ''Ankahee'' begins with Sheena (Hrishita Bhatt) arriving at home, when her mother Nandita ( Ameesha Patel) tells her that her father Shekhar (Aftab Shivdasani) has sent her a letter and wants to meet her as he's dying from illness. Sheena refuses to meet her father, as he abandoned her & her mother for sixteen years when Sheena was just six years of age. As her mother persuades her to meet him, she finally agrees to pay her father a visit and she sees him in a bad situation under careful nursing. Vikram Bhatt
Vikram Bhatt (born 27 January 1969) is an Indian director, producer, screenwriter and actor. He is best known for directing the Raaz (film series), ''Raaz'' film series, an Indian horror series produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt and for directing ''Ghulam (film), Ghulam'' (1999) starring Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherji, which was also produced by Mukesh Bhatt. Vikas Bhalla
Vikas Bhalla (born 24 October 1972) is an Indian film, television actor, singer and producer. Vikas is trained in Hindustani classical music from Allahabad University, under Pandit Jialal Vasant. He appeared as a lead actor in films in the late 1990s, and went on to feature in several music and video albums.
