Anita E Garibaldi
''Anita e Garibaldi'' is a 2013 Brazilian historical drama film directed by Alberto Rondalli. The film follows the arrival of Giuseppe Garibaldi in Brazil, his meeting with Anita Garibaldi and the human and military learning with Luigi Rossetti in the struggle for liberation of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina of the Brazilian Empire. Ana Paula Arósio (born 16 July 1975) is a Brazilian former actress and model. She lives in Swindon, Wiltshire, England since 2015. Career Arósio is one of the most popular actresses in Brazil. She started her career at the age of twelve when Ana Paula was "discovered" by a representative for an advertisement agency while shopping at a supermarket. Ragamuffin War
The Ragamuffin War (Portuguese: ''Guerra dos Farrapos'' or ''Revolução Farroupilha'') was a Republican uprising that began in southern Brazil, in the province (current state) of Rio Grande do Sul in 1835. The rebels were led by generals Bento Gonçalves da Silva and Antônio de Sousa Neto with the support of the Italian fighter Giuseppe Garibaldi. The war ended with an agreement between the two sides known as Green Poncho Treaty (Portuguese: ) in 1845. Laguna, Santa Catarina
Laguna is a Brazilian municipality located in the southern state of Santa Catarina, 120 kilometers south of the state's capital, Florianópolis, and north east of Porto Alegre. The population is 46,122 (2020 est.) in an area of 336.4 km². Elevation is 2 m. The BR-101 coastal highway passes through the municipality.
