Anita Rizzuti
Anita Rizzuti (born 12 January 1971, also known as Anita Maflin) is a Norwegian snooker and pool player. She is married to professional snooker player Kurt Maflin. Career Rizzuti was a semi-finalist at the inaugural EBSA European Women's Championship in 1996, losing 0–5 to Karen Corr. She reached the semi-finals again in 2001, losing 1–4 to Kelly Fisher and was a quarter-finalist in 1999, 2004 and 2006. Rizzuti, Reanne Evans and Wendy Jans all took part in the 2010 World Open. Jans lost 0–3 to Alfie Burden in the first round. In the European Tour 2013/2014 – Event 4, Maflin lost 2–4 to Andreas Hartung. At European Tour 2013/2014 – Event 8, she lost 0–4 to Joe Steele, and at European Tour 2014/2015 – Event 1 she lost 0–4 to Anthony Jeffers. The 2006 IBSF World Snooker Championship was an amateur snooker event, sanctioned by the International Billiards and Snooker Federation, held at the Amman Olympics Sports Centre in Amman, Jordan from November 5-November 15, 2006. Results Men A total of 32 players qualified for finishing in the top 4 positions in eight groups. They were drawn into a 32 player knock-out bracket to decide the winner. Women Source: Snooker Scene Reanne Evans, the 2004 champion, did not enter the event. There were twenty entries, and two qualifying groups of ten players were set, each to be played as a round-robin, with the top four from each group qualifying for the eight-player knock-out phase to decide the winner. World Women's Snooker, founded as the World Ladies Billiards and Snooker Association (WLBSA) in 1981, and known as World Ladies Billiards and Snooker (WLBS) from 2015 to 2018, is a subsidiary company of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association concerned with governing and promoting snooker and billiards for women. Ng On-yee
Ng On-yee (; born 17 November 1990) is a Hong Kong professional snooker player who has won three IBSF World Snooker Championships and three World Women's Snooker world championships. She held the number one position in the World Women's Snooker world ranking list from February 2018 to April 2019. After competing in several International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) tournaments, Ng became the youngest-ever IBSF women's world champion at the age of 19 and successfully defended the title the following year. At the 2015 World Ladies Snooker Championship she defeated Reanne Evans—who had held the title for the previous ten years—in the semi-final and won the title. The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) is the governing body of professional snooker and English billiards based in Bristol, England. Pool is a classification of cue sports played on a table with six pockets along the , into which balls are deposited. "Pool billiards" is sometimes hyphenated and/or spelled with a singular "billiard". The WPA itself uses "pool-billiard" in its logo but "pool-billiards" in its legal notices.
