''Animosity'' is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity. It was released on October 25, 1985. The album cover art was done by artist Pushead. Corrosion Of Conformity
Corrosion of Conformity (also known as COC) is an American heavy metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, formed in 1982. The band has undergone multiple line-up changes throughout its existence, with guitarist Woody Weatherman as the sole constant member. Weatherman, founding bassist Mike Dean, founding drummer Reed Mullin, and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Pepper Keenan (who joined the band in 1989) are widely regarded as its 'classic' line-up. After a hiatus in 2006, Corrosion of Conformity returned in 2010 without Keenan, who had been busy touring and recording with Down, but announced their reunion with him in December 2014. The band started as a hardcore punk band but later moved towards a slower and blues-tinged heavy metal sound. Monster Voodoo Machine is a Canadian metal band formed in Ontario in 1991. Some critics compared the band's sound to White Zombie. History Monster Voodoo Machine was formed in Canada in 1991 by Toronto musician and vocalist Adam Sewell, inspired by bands like Quicksand, Black Flag and Discharge. The original line-up included guitarist Mark Gibson, bassist Terry Landry and drummer Drew Gauley. Corrosion is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more chemically stable oxide. It is the gradual deterioration of materials (usually a metal) by chemical or electrochemical reaction with their environment. Corrosion engineering is the field dedicated to controlling and preventing corrosion. ''Bestial Machinery (Discography Volume 1)'' is a double-CD anthology by the American grindcore band Agoraphobic Nosebleed. The album contains all of the material the group recorded prior to their Relapse Records full-length album ''Honky Reduction'', much of which was only released on vinyl 7-inch EPs or compilations. Although the total playing time of the album could fit on a single compact disc, a technical restriction—the fact that a maximum of 99 tracks could be programmed onto a single CD—forced Relapse to split the 136 songs between two CDs. The first disc contains all of Agoraphobic Nosebleed's EP and split releases, while the second contains the band's first demo and all of their compilation tracks, plus thirteen previously unreleased songs. Agoraphobic Nosebleed (abbreviated as ANb) is an American grindcore band formed in 1994 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. Its line-up has changed often over the years, with guitarist and drum programmer Scott Hull being the only continuous member. The current line-up includes vocalist Jay Randall, and Richard Johnson of Enemy Soil and Drugs of Faith, along with John Jarvis of Pig Destroyer and Fulgora on bass guitar. Background This is a re-recording of the band's first self-released demo tape of the same name from 1986. It is their first album to be released in over 20 years. It is also the first album to feature new members Dave Lombardo on drums and guitarist Scott Ian.
