Animetal Lady Marathon II
is the second and final studio album by Animetal Lady (Animetal with Mie (singer), Mie of Pink Lady (duo), Pink Lady as the vocalist). Released through Avex Inc., Cutting Edge Records on April 10, 2002, the album consists of a non-stop Medley (music), marathon of metal covers of Shōjo manga, shōjo anime theme songs, Children's anime and manga, children's anime theme songs, and other anime theme songs sung by women. It features a guest appearance by former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman. At 30 minutes long, ''Animetal Lady Marathon II'' is the shortest studio album in Animetal's discography. Animetal
was a Japanese heavy metal band who specialized in metal covers of theme songs from classic and modern Japanese anime and tokusatsu television series. They were composed of several luminaries of the Japanese metal scene, most notably vocalist Eizo Sakamoto, who has been involved off and on with Anthem as well as participating in various other projects including the pop rock group Nerima, the JAM Project, and a successful solo career where he also plays lead guitar as well as vocals. As of 2006, the band is currently on indefinite hiatus. Sakamoto has since begun a similar project called Eizo Japan, but in 2013 he announced that he and She-Ja were reforming Animetal as . is an anime series produced by Nippon Animation Co. Ltd. Dog Of Flanders (TV Series)
is a 1975 Japanese anime television series adaptation of Ouida's 1872 novel of the same name, produced by Nippon Animation. 52 episodes were produced. A film version was released in 1997. The series represents the bond between a boy and his ever so faithful dog living in 19th century Flanders Hoboken. The emotional story shows the boy's struggles in life as his grandfather dies and leaves him with his dog. It shows how the hopes of becoming a great classical painter have been seemingly crushed by his grandfather's passing and the way he takes after that tragedy. Little Wansa
is a mascot for Sanwa Bank designed by Osamu Tezuka. It was later turned into a manga series by Tezuka and an anime series from 1973. The hero of Wansa-kun was Wansa, a puppy who is sold for a pittance, then escapes, and spends much of the rest of the series looking for his mother. Tezuka never completed the manga version of the series. In 1973 an animated series based on the manga was made, produced by Yoshinobu Nishizaki and broadcast by Kansai Telecasting Corporation. As with the earlier ''Triton of the Sea'', Tezuka had little-to-no involvement in this series and ''Wansa-kun'' ultimately ended up being the last series produced by the original Mushi Production before its bankruptcy. , also known as ''Satanikus!'', is a Japanese horror-comedy anime and manga series created by Go Nagai. It's one of Nagai's most famous works in Japan, although not very well known in the rest of the world.
