Angus Reid
Angus Reid (born September 23, 1976, in Richmond, British Columbia) is a former offensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League. Reid went to Simon Fraser University and played for the Simon Fraser Clan. He began his career with the Montreal Alouettes but was traded, along with a 5th round draft pick, to BC for Adriano Belli. In 2004, Reid was selected to the West Division All-Star Team for the first time in his career. He was also named CFL lineman of the week for week #7. In 2005, Reid started all 18 games including the West Division Final against the Edmonton Eskimos. Reid missed three years of college football at Simon Fraser because of gastrointestinal problems linked to Crohn's disease but he played every CFL game from the 2002 to 2008 CFL seasons including the 92nd and 94th Grey Cups. Richmond is a coastal city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. Hamburg Blue Devils
The Hamburg Blue Devils are an American football team in Hamburg, Germany. It was founded in 1992. The Blue Devils are one of the most successful American football clubs in Germany, having won four German Bowls as well as three Eurobowls. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, the clubs rivalry with the Braunschweig Lions dominated the game in the German Football League, with the two sides meeting in six German Bowls between 1998 and 2005 as well as the 1999 Eurobowl. 2008 CFL Season
The 2008 CFL season was the 55th season of modern-day Canadian football, the 51st season for the Canadian Football League. It was also the first CFL season in which all of the league's regular season and post-season games, including the Grey Cup game, were aired on TSN. This meant the CFL was no longer aired on broadcast television in Canada. As of 2008, TSN was available in approximately 8.8 million of Canada's 13 million households. Crohn's Disease
Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affect any segment of the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody if inflammation is severe), fever, abdominal distension, and weight loss. Edmonton Eskimos
The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta.
