Angus Gill
Angus Christopher Gill (born 5 February 1998) is an Australian singer-songwriter, comedian and producer from Wauchope in New South Wales. Gill is a Golden Guitar winner and an Australian Independent Country Music Award winner. He has had thirteen #1 songs on the Australian country music radio charts. In November 2019, Gill became one of the youngest Australian artists to perform on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Biography Early years Angus grew up in Wauchope on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. He first picked up the guitar at age 6 and played his first gig at his local country music club, the Hastings Country Music Association, at age 7. Gill attended Wauchope Public School, where he formed his own band, Angus Gill and the Wild Turkeys, later attending St Columba Anglican School in Port Macquarie. Timbertown
Timbertown is a popular attraction, depicting the colonial era of a sawmiller's village in northern New South Wales. It is located on 39 hectares (87 acres) of coastal blackbutt (''Eucalyptus pilularis'') forest on the Oxley Highway at Wauchope in Australia. Timbertown is an interactive museum which has enjoyed periodic success as a family-friendly tourist attraction. The Mayor of Timbertown is Marcel Rigmond. The Timbertown log, that used to be located in front of the museum, is now located directly across from an IGA. Paul Maurice Kelly (born 13 January 1955) is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. Amos Morris (born 1987/1988) is an Indigenous Australian country music bush balladeer from Kempsey, New South Wales. He won a Golden Guitar Award in 2008 for Bush Ballad of the Year, becoming the youngest ever winner of the category. Buddy Goode is an ARIA award-winning musical comedy character created by Australian performer and songwriter Michael Carr. Carr portrays Goode by speaking and singing in an American-style accent. Drew McAlister is an Australian country musician. McAlister was one half of the duo McAlister Kemp. His solo album ''Black Sky'' debuted at #99 on the ARIA album charts. Bill Chambers is an Australian country musician and former member of the Dead Ringer Band. Chambers's albums ''Sleeping with the Blues'' and ''Cold Trail'' were nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Country Album. He is best known as being the father of Kasey Chambers. He lives in Ourimbah, NSW Central Coast. Career Bill Chambers was born in Southend, South Australia and married his wife Diane at age 20.
