Anglican Mainstream is a conservative Anglican organization from the Church of England. It describes itself as "a community within the Anglican Communion committed to promote, teach and maintain the Scriptural truths on which the Anglican Church was founded". It is best known through its website, which posts items of interest or concern to its constituency. The convenor of the organization's UK steering committee is Philip Giddings. Eynsham
Eynsham is an English village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish in Oxfordshire, about north-west of Oxford and east of Witney. The United Kingdom Census 2011, 2011 Census recorded a parish population of 4,648. It was estimated at 5,087 in 2020. History Eynsham grew up near the historically important ford of Swinford, Oxfordshire, Swinford on the River Thames flood plain. Excavations have shown that the site was used in the Bronze Age Britain, Bronze Age (3000–300 BCE) for a rectilinear enclosure edging a gravel terrace. The Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (branded as GAFCON or Gafcon) is a global network of conservative Anglican churches that formed in 2008 in response to an ongoing theological crisis in the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Core Issues Trust is a British Christian fundamentalist organisation that provides therapy and counselling to people who have issues on sexuality and gender identity. Purpose The Trust offers psycho-therapeutic therapy to those who experience unwanted homosexual behaviour and feelings. Core Issues Trust states it believes human sexuality in both men and women is a choice, and that sexual preferences can change. The Trust says it does not consider homosexuality a native human behaviour, but rather a relational or sexual damage that causes deviancy that may be cured. The group's leader, Dr. Mike Davidson, describes himself as ex-gay; he is not a physician but has a doctorate in education. He had been a trainee therapist in psychodrama before being suspended by the British Psychological Society.
