Donald Redding
Donald Llewellyn Redding, MBE was the fourth Anglican Bishop of Bunbury from 1951 to 1957. Redding was born on 11 July 1898 and educated at the City of London School and St Barnabas' Theological College, North Adelaide. He was ordained in 1922. His first post was a curacy at Christ Church, Mount Gambier after which he was Priest in Charge of St Peter's Church, Robe. He later held incumbencies at St John's Church, Maitland, St Mary's Church, Burra and St Barnabas' Church, Clare before returning as an archdeacon. In 1949, Redding became Vicar of St Andrew's Church, Brighton before being ordained to the episcopate. The Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn is one of the 23 dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia. The diocese has 60 parishes covering most of south-east New South Wales, the eastern Riverina and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). An assistant bishop in the Anglican Communion is a bishop appointed to assist a diocesan bishop. Church of England In the established Church of England, assistant bishops are usually retired (diocesan or suffragan) bishops – in which case they are ''honorary assistant bishop''s. Historically, non-retired bishops have been appointed to be assistant bishops – however, unlike a diocesan or suffragan they do not hold a see: they are not the "Bishop of Somewhere". Allan Bowers Ewing (born 1951) is a retired Australian Anglican bishop who served as the Anglican Bishop of Bunbury from 2010 to 2017, and prior to that as an assistant bishop in the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn from 2004 to 2009. Born in England in 1951, he was formerly an accountant. He was ordained as deacon in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn in 1987 and priest the following year. David McCall
William David Hair McCall (29 February 1940 - 7 May 2021) was an Australian Anglican bishop. McCall was born into a prominent family. His grandfather was John McCall KCMG, Agent-General for Tasmania, and his father, Theodore Bruce McCall, an Anglican bishop. He was educated at Launceston Church Grammar School, Sydney Grammar School. He studied for the priesthood at St Michael's House in Crafers, South Australia and was ordained in 1963. He served curacies at St Alban's Griffith and St Peter's Broken Hill. He was then priest-in-charge of Barellan-Weethalle, Rector of St John's Corowa and (his last post before ordination to the episcopate) the incumbent of St George's, Goodwood. The Anglican Diocese of Carpentaria was an Anglican diocese in northern Australia from 1900 to 1996. It included most of northern Queensland, the islands of the Torres Strait and, until 1968, all of the Northern Territory. The see was based at Quetta Cathedral on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. The Diocese of Wangaratta is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia. It is situated in the north-eastern part of the state of Victoria, Australia. Arthur Stanley Goldsworthy (18 February 1926 – 16 November 2014) was an Australian Anglican bishop. He was the sixth Bishop of Bunbury in the Anglican Church of Australia from 1977 to 1983.
