Angie Asimus
Angie Asimus (born 12 August 1985) is a news presenter and journalist. Asimus is currently a weather presenter on '' Seven News Sydney'' and presents '' Seven News at 5.'' Career Asimus was originally from Gundagai (in rural New South Wales) before moving to Sydney to study Media Communications at the University of Sydney. She received a Graduate Certificate in Climate Adaptation in 2012 from the University of Southern Queensland. Asimus started her career as a journalist in 2008 with Seven Queensland working at their Townsville newsroom. In 2010, she was moved to Seven's Brisbane Newsroom initially as the court reporter. During the 2011 floods Asimus presented the weather then soon after moved into the role of weekend weather presenter on a full-time basis. Hermione Kitson is an Australian news presenter and reporter. Career Kitson studied Media/Communications at Sydney University and completed an internship at ABC Sydney News and Current Affairs. Network Ten Before joining Network Ten, Kitson worked as a reporter at WIN TV and as a reporter and newsreader at 2UE Radio Sydney. ''Weekend Sunrise'' is an Australian breakfast television program, broadcast on the Seven Network and currently hosted by Monique Wright and Matt Doran. History In 2005 the Seven Network replaced its struggling Sunday morning program ''Sunday Sunrise'' with a program called ''Weekend Sunrise'', as an extension of the weekday brand. It originally was an hour-long (8 am – 9 am). Hosted by Chris Reason and Lisa Wilkinson, the program was successful and various critiques at the time called for the program to be lengthened to two hours (7:00 am – 9:00 am) and be extended to Saturday mornings as well as Sunday. David Brown (born 12 July 1959, in Sydney) is former Australian retired meteorologist for ''Seven News''. Brown was formerly the weather presenter on '' Seven News Sydney'', as well as on the national '' Seven Morning News'' and '' Seven Afternoon News'' bulletins, on ''Sunrise'' and ''Seven News Melbourne''. Career Brown graduated from Caulfield Institute of Technology (now part of Monash University) in 1981 with a B.App.Sc. degree. Ann Sanders (born 15 March 1960), is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. Sanders currently presents '' Seven Morning News'' and '' Seven Afternoon News Sydney.'' Career Sanders began her broadcasting career with SAS-7 in Adelaide, South Australia as a weather presenter before moving to Seven Perth.
