Angelicuss
''Angelicuss'' is the first Romanian LGBT magazine and is published by Be An Angel, an LGBT rights organisation from Cluj-Napoca. The magazine was initially only available through the internet, with the first print version released in November 2004 and distributed free of charge. In 2005, the magazine was replaced by ''Switch'', also released by Be An Angel. In 2006, however, ''Switch'' was discontinued and replaced by a revamped Angelicuss, released in the format of a weekly newsletter. From June 2007, Angelicuss have too a daily update online version. Lucian Dunăreanu
Lucian Dunăreanu (born 22 November 1977) is a Romanian gay rights activist and the executive director of Be An Angel Romania, an LGBT rights organisation based in Cluj-Napoca, now PRIDE ROMÂNIA. LGBT activities Since 2004 he has organized the Gay Film Nights Festival, which includes, alongside a film festival, the Miss Travesty contest and the Gay Prize Gala for contributions to Romania's LGBT community. Dunăreanu is the editor of Romania's first LGBT magazine, ''Angelicuss''; he was also editor of the short-lived ''Switch (Romanian magazine), Switch'' magazine. Dunareanu is the owner of the Veverițele Vesele - ex-Toxice musical group, which is the first professional drag queen band in Romania, and was the first Romanian group of its kind to enter the Eurovision national preselection and Romanian TV shows Mondenii and Românii au talent. Be An Angel
Be An Angel Romania (BAAR) is a Romanian human rights organisation based in Cluj-Napoca founded by Lucian Dunăreanu, an LGBT rights activist. Although the organisation's mission is to combat discrimination in Romanian society in all its forms, its main field of activity is in LGBT rights and dealing with discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. Since 2004, Be An Angel has also organised the annual Gay Film Nights festival in Cluj-Napoca, which seeks to promote LGBT culture and cinema. The 2007 festival was held between October 15 and October 21. Gay Film Nights includes a Gay Prize Gala (''Gala Premiilor Gay'' in Romanian), with prizes awarded in various fields, such as LGBT activism, the best gay publication and the most LGBT-friendly public personality in Romania. ''Switch'' was a Romanian LGBT magazine. Switch was the first commercial glossy magazine for the LGBT community in Romania. The first issue of ''Switch'' was released on July 1, 2005, and dealt extensively with the organisation of Romania's first gay pride parade, as part of Bucharest's annual GayFest.
