Angela Yee
Angela Yee (born January 3, 1976) is an American radio personality. She hosted the nationally syndicated morning show ''The Breakfast Club'' along with DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. She is on the Board of Governors of the We Are Family Foundation and a board member of the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies. She is also the first-ever ambassador for the New York Public Library system. Since 2019, she has served as the BSE Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Ambassador. Early life and education Angela Yee was born to a Chinese father and an Afro-Montserratian mother and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, in New York City. She attended Poly Prep in New York, entering through Prep for Prep. For her collegiate career, she attended Wesleyan University, majoring in English and graduating in 1997. Paul D. Rosenberg (born August 1, 1971) is an American music manager, current CEO of Goliath Records and former CEO of Def Jam Recordings, best known as the agent and manager of American rapper Eminem. He is also known for his associations with The Knux, DJ AM, Action Bronson, and band Blink-182. Career In addition to being a manager of several music acts, Rosenberg is also the co-founder of hip-hop record label Shady Records, founded in 1999. The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) is a nonprofit organization created by women in 1951 that works to support women in the media in the United States. About The mission of the organization is to "advance the impact of women in broadcasting and related fields." Its members also provide support for educational programs and scholarships, and do charity work and other public service activities. Scholarships are available for women who are pursuing careers in media. AWM presents the Gracie Award annually to recognize women's accomplishments in all media, especially for programming created by and for women.
