''Angakkuri'' is a 1979 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Vijayanand and produced by C. V. Hariharan. The film stars Jayan, Jayabharathi, Sukumaran and Seema/Shanthamma. The score was composed by A. T. Ummer. Synopsis The protagonist Ramachandran returns from jail and kills his corrupt boss, who had implicated him in a criminal case that destroyed his family. He abducts the victim's daughter, Sarala, and hands her over to a brothel, where she becomes a prostitute. He shifts to a new location, assumes the name Venu, and becomes a criminal. There he befriends taxi-driver Balakrishnan (Sukumaran), who is the brother of Sarala and the son of the man Ramachandran murdered. Prathapachandran
Prathapachandran (1941–2004) was an Indian actor, who worked predominantly in Malayalam film, Malayalam film industry, though he acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies as well. He known for the portrayal of villainous and character roles in over 300 movies. He was born in 1941 at Omallur in Travancore, Thiruvithamkoor princely state, currently within the Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu (24 December 1936 – 25 February 2000), was a popular Indian stage and film actor. His repertoire of acting was based on his unique style and use of the ''Kozhikodan'' dialect, impeccable timing and the capability to grasp the subtle nuances of any character and mould it into his signature "Pappu style". Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair (10 June 1948 – 16 June 1997), known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. He was considered one of the superstar trios of Malayalam cinema during the late 1970s and early 1980s along with Soman and Jayan.
