Anette Rückes (born 19 December 1951 in Bad Marienberg, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a West Germany, German athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres. She competed for West Germany in the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich in the 4 x 400 metres where she won the bronze medal with her teammates Inge Bödding, Hildegard Falck and Rita Wilden. Bad Marienberg (Westerwald) is a town in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, and also the seat of the like-named ''Verbandsgemeinde'', a kind of collective municipality. Geography The community lies in the Westerwald between Limburg and Siegen. From east to west through the town flows the river Nister, which is part of the Sieg drainage basin. Rita Wilden, née Jahn (born 9 October 1947 in Leipzig) is a German athlete, who competed mainly in the 400 metres. She competed for West Germany in the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich in the 400 metres where she won the silver medal. Later on in the same Games she helped her teammates Anette Rückes, Inge Bödding and Hildegard Falck to a bronze in the first Olympic women's 4 x 400 m relay. Hildegard Falck
Hildegard Falck (née ''Janze'' on 8 June 1949) is a retired West German runner. At the 1972 Olympics she won a gold medal in the 800 m and a bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay with West German team. In the 800 m final she finished 0.1 seconds ahead of Nijolė Sabaitė and Gunhild Hoffmeister. On 11 July 1971 Falck ran the 800 m in 1:58.5 minutes in Stuttgart, improving the world record of Vera Nikolic by two seconds. She was the first woman to clock a time under two minutes if the unratified marks of Sin Kim Dan are discounted. Her record stood until 1973. Before turning to athletics, Falck studied to become a secondary school teacher and trained in handball and swimming.
