Anette Bøe
Anette Bøe (born 5 November 1957 in Larvik) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier. Bøe won her first international medal when she took the bronze at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid on the 4 × 5 km relay. She won the 20 km event at the Holmenkollen ski festival twice, in 1984 and 1985. Bøe's biggest successes as a cross-country skier were at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, where she took gold in the 4 × 5 km relay (1982) and the 10 km (1985), silver in the 4 × 5 km relay (1985, 1987), and a bronze in the 20 km (1985). She also won the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in 1985. Bøe was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1985 (shared with Per Bergerud and Gunde Svan). Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort, in Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol with a local population of 3,312 (as of 1 January 2013). Holmenkollen Ski Festival
The Holmenkollen Ski Festival ( no, Holmenkollen skifestival or ) is a traditional annual Nordic skiing event in Holmenkollen, Oslo, Norway. The full official name of the event is Holmenkollen FIS World Cup Nordic. History It takes place in March and has been arranged every year since 1892, except for 1898 and during World War II (1941–1945). The event is arranged by Skiforeningen and takes place at Holmenkollen National Arena and ski jumping hills Holmenkollbakken and Midtstubakken. In 2009 Holmenkollen was under renovation and replacement races were held in Trondheim for cross-country skiing and biathlon, and in Vikersund for ski jumping and nordic combined. In 2011, Holmenkollen hosted the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and there was no separate Holmenkollen Ski Festival. The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. The Egebergs Ærespris ("Honorary Prize of Egeberg") is a prize awarded to Norwegian athletes who excel in more than one sport. The prize was created by Ferdinand Julian Egeberg, and consists of a bronze statuette modelled by sculptor Magnus Vigrestad. History In 1917 a donation of was given by Cabinet Chamberlain Ferdinand Julian Egeberg to the sports association Norges Riksforbund for Idræt. His donation was basis for the sports prize ''Kabinetskammerherre Egebergs ærespris for alsidig idrett''. The statutes for the award were agreed on 10 February 1920. Gunde Svan
Gunde Anders Svan (born 12 January 1962) is a Swedish former cross-country skier and auto racing driver. During his cross-country skiing career he won a total of four gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the Winter Olympics. Svan won a total of seven golds (15 km - 1989; 30 km and 4 × 10 km relay - 1985, 1991; 50 km - 1985, 1989; and 4 × 10 km relay - 1987), three silvers (15 km, 50 km, 4 × 10 km relay (all 1991)), and one bronze (4 × 10 km relay - 1985) at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Svan also won the 15 km once (1983) and the 50 km twice (1986, 1990) at the Holmenkollen ski festival.
