Andrew Derek Taylor (born 1 August 1986) is an English former professional footballer who last played for Bolton Wanderers. He has previously played for Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, Bradford City, Watford and Wigan Athletic. Club career Born in Hartlepool, County Durham, Taylor began his football career at Middlesbrough's youth academy, first joining at age nine. He eventually progressed through the youth ranks as schoolboy, trainee and senior professional before signing his first professional terms upon turning seventeen. Taylor started out as a left midfielder in the successful 2004 FA Youth Cup campaign with the likes of David Wheater and Adam Johnson. Sir Andrew Thomas Taylor, JP, RCA, FSA, FRIBA (13 October 1850 – 5 December 1937) was a British architect and councillor. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and practised architecture in Scotland and London before emigrating to Montreal, Quebec, in 1883, where he designed many of the buildings of McGill University. He retired from architecture in 1904 and returned to London, where he served on London County Council from 1908 to 1926. He was knighted for his political services in 1926. Andrew McDonald Taylor (born 19 March 1940) is an Australian poet and academic, and a co-founder of Friendly Street Poets in Adelaide, South Australia. Early life and career Andrew Taylor was born in Warrnambool, Victoria on 19 March 1940. Educated at the University of Melbourne, Taylor moved to Adelaide in 1970, where he taught at the English Department at the University of Adelaide, mainly in American Literature. Academic career In 1992 he became Foundation Professor of English at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Taylor taught for many years at the University of Adelaide, and was made an emeritus professor at Edith Cowan University. He has been a visiting lecturer at Cornell University in the US and Churchill College Cambridge, UK, and has also taught at the University of Tübingen in Germany and at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in China. Andrew Eldritch (born Andrew William Harvey Taylor, 15 May 1959) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He is the frontman and only remaining original member of the Sisters of Mercy, a band that emerged from the British post-punk scene, transformed into a gothic rock band, and, in later years, flirted with hard rock. Formerly a drummer, Eldritch also programs the tracks for the Sisters of Mercy's drum machine (known as "Doktor Avalanche") and plays guitars and keyboards in its studio recordings but uses live shows to focus solely on his vocal performance.
