Andrew Tasman Harold "Nixey" Stewart (23 September 1876 – 12 August 1919) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). From South Yarra, Stewart also had two brothers, George and Walter, who played for St Kilda. Stewart was St Kilda's leading goal-kicker in 1898 and 1899, with 23 and 16 goals respectively. Andrew Stewart MBE (30 December 1933 – 11 October 1993) was a Scottish singer and entertainer. He presented the BBC TV variety show ''The White Heather Club'' throughout the 1960s, and his song " Donald Where's Your Troosers?" was a hit in both 1960 and 1989. Internationally, the song most closely associated with Stewart is "A Scottish Soldier". Early life and education Stewart was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1933, the son of a teacher. When he was five years old, the family moved to Perth and then, six years later, to Arbroath. Even in early childhood, he loved imitating people and amazed his parents with impersonations of famous singers and actors. He attended Arbroath High School, where his father taught science. Andrew Struthers Stewart (27 May 1937 − 6 October 2013) was a British Conservative Party politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Sherwood from 1983 to 1992. Early life Born in Lanarkshire, Scotland, Stewart was educated at Strathaven Academy and West of Scotland Agricultural College. He chaired Strathaven Young Unionists in 1957–58. Political career Having moved to Nottinghamshire to establish himself as a farmer, Stewart was elected to Nottinghamshire County Council in 1977, serving until he resigned on election to Parliament. Andy Stewart (born 23 May 1961) is an Australian basketball coach. Early life Growing up with his father in the Air Force, Stewart played multiple sports in a number of different locations. He first started playing basketball in Malaysia. In the mid 1990s, Stewart began working as a coach with the Lakeside Lightning and Athletes in Action Australia. Coaching career Lakeside Lightning In 2000, Stewart became the inaugural head coach of the Lakeside Lightning in the State Basketball League (SBL), guiding them to a grand final berth in their first season. In 2005, he guided the Lightning to their first SBL title, later guiding them to three more championships in 2006, 2009 and 2013. He also earned recognition as the league's Coach of the Year five times between 2007 and 2013. He coached over 400 games for the Lightning.
