Andrew David Stewart (born December 5, 1970) is a former Major League Baseball player for the Kansas City Royals. Stewart hit a double in his first major league plate appearance in September 1997. Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. When a Batter (baseball), batter takes their at bat, turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home plate, home) Umpire (baseball), umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher.
