Andy Malecek
Andy Malecek is a German guitarist who has played in the bands Fair Warning and Last Autumn's Dream. Childhood Andy Malecek was born on 28 June 1964 in Berlin. He showed interest in music from a young age and took up guitar at the age of 13. His passion for music was evident as he never lost opportunities to miss classes at school so that he could play guitar. Growing up he played in several local bands. Career 1990–2000 (fair warning) Andy Malecek performed, recorded and toured with Fair Warning for 10 years. In an interview with Mika Erlandson about Andy Malecek, Mika said, "One of the best guitarists that I have ever met!" Rainmaker and Go! went Gold in Japan, while Fair Warning was nominated "Best Newcomer Band and Brightest Hope of the Year" in 1992. In 1997, Go! was nominated best album of the year. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Melodic Rock
Arena rock (also known as AOR, melodic rock, stadium rock, anthem rock, pomp rock, corporate rock and dad rock; ; ) is a style of rock music that originated in the mid-1970s. Glam Metal
Glam metal (also known as hair metal or pop metal) is a subgenre of heavy metal that features pop-influenced hooks and guitar riffs, upbeat rock anthems, and slow power ballads. It borrows heavily from the fashion and image of 1970s glam rock. Early glam metal evolved directly from the glam rock movement of the 1970s, as visual elements taken from acts such as T. Last Autumn's Dream
Last Autumn's Dream is a hard rock band formed in 2002 by vocalist and keyboardist Mikael Erlandsson from Sweden and guitarist Andy Malecek from the German hard rock band Fair Warning. When searching for other band members, they asked bassist John Levén, drummer Ian Haugland and keyboardist Mic Michaeli, all from the band Europe, if they were interested to be part of this new musical project and since that moment the band began working on their self-titled debut album, which was released in 2003. By the time they began working on their second album, ''II'', Europe had reunited, and Last Autumn's Dream had to replace Levén, Haugland and Michaeli with Marcel Jacob (Talisman), Jamie Borger (Talisman, Treat) and Thomas Lassar (Crystal Blue), respectively.
