Andy Juett
Andy Juett (born October 24, 1977) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, writer, producer, host, and comedy event director in Denver, Colorado. He is a partner in Sexpot Comedy and was one of the co-founders of High Plains Comedy Festival. Early life and education Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Juett graduated from Brother Rice High School, where he attended alongside fellow comedian and future collaborator Eugene Cordero. Juett briefly attended Boston College before graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in advertising. Career Radio Juett spent more than 14 years in the radio industry, working as an Account Executive at Liggett Broadcasting in Lansing, Michigan and Citadel in Colorado Springs, moving into sales management positions at Max Radio, CBS Radio, Wilks Broadcasting, and Clear Channel Radio in Denver and ultimately serving as Sales Manager at Lincoln Financial Media's Comedy 103.1 from September 2013 through June 2014. Evan Nix (born December 10, 1983) and Adam Nix (born October 11, 1986), known together professionally as the Nix Bros., are American film directors, producers, and musicians. They are most well known for filming the series ''The Grawlix'' on Funny Or Die, a weekly comedy show featuring regular appearances by comedians Adam Cayton-Holland, Ben Roy, and Andrew Orvedahl, and for directing an episode of Paul Feig's 2015 comedy series ''Other Space''. The two are also known as the founding members of the synthpop comedy band Total Ghost, a group for which they won best music video at the Festivus film festival in Denver, Colorado. ''Super Troopers 2'' is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar. Comedy Works is a stand-up comedy club with two locations in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. The downtown club opened in September 1981 and is located in Larimer Square in Denver. The south club, which opened September 2008, is part of The Landmark development in Greenwood Village. History Originally known as the Comedy Shoppe, owners George McKelvey (the "Godfather" of Denver's comedy community), Doug Olson, and Edd Nichols renamed the venue Comedy Works in 1981 and moved it to a basement space of the Granite/Graham-Clayton building in Larimer Square.
