Andy Dulin
Andy T. Dulin is an American politician. He was elected as a Republican to the North Carolina House of Representatives District 104, representing South-Central Charlotte, on November 8, 2016. He took office in January 2017 succeeding Dan Bishop who was elected to the North Carolina State Senate in the same general election. In 2018, Dulin lost re-election to Democrat Brandon Lofton. Dulin represented much of South Central Charlotte during his tenure in the NC House. Richard Daniel "Ric" Killian is an American businessman, United States Army officer, and politician who served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013. Early life, education, and business career Killian was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, in 1964. He was also raised there. In 1986, he earned a BS in organizational leadership from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a lieutenant/captain of the United States Army from 1986 to 1991. After that, he retired and has been a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve since. After retiring from the U.S. Army, Killian went into real estate. James Daniel Bishop (born July 1, 1964) is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2019, when the district was numbered as the 9th. A Republican, his district includes south-central Mecklenburg, Union, Anson, Richmond, Scotland, Robeson, Hoke, and southern Moore Counties. He served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2017 and the Mecklenburg County Commission from 2005 to 2009. He served in the North Carolina State Senate from 2017 to 2019. North Carolina's 9th Congressional District
The 9th congressional district of North Carolina is a congressional district in south-central North Carolina. The district's current boundaries were redrawn in February 2016 after a U.S. District Court overturned the existing boundaries because of politically directed gerrymandering that suppressed minority representation. The new congressional district consists of Union, Anson, Richmond, Scotland, and Robeson counties; a southeast portion of Mecklenburg County; and parts of Cumberland, Moore and Bladen counties. Republicans have held this district since 1963. Republican Robert Pittenger had represented the district since January 2013.
